Weekend WeWind – Week Of August 8-12

Brendan Dassey, the nephew of Steven Avery, and one of two cases followed in the hit Netflix documentary "Making A Murderer" has had his conviction overturned by a federal judge.

I spent the weekend in Austin, TX for an Anime convention. While driving there on Friday, there was a stretch of highway in between Houston and Austin that is all Texas country. I jokingly told my girlfriend that you don’t take a wrong turn in these parts because turns like that are like the start of horror movies.
