"Glory Boats" is offering the ultimate fishing send off for outdoor enthusiast. The Arkansas company has caskets that look like smaller versions of "John Boats", and for a reasonable price as well.

Ksla.com reports "Glory Boats" owner Joel Schmidt states on the company’s website, www.gloryboats.com, that the idea came about "when his 74-year-old dad was in the hospital recovering from a 'nasty fall' off a ladder."

Schmidt says he asked his dad what his final wishes were. After they spoke, Schmidt says he told his dad if he didn't have direction from him for arrangements, he would have just buried him in his boat.

That's when the idea struck him.

"Used in funeral services the same way as traditional caskets Glory Boats are compatible with standard burial vaults. The internal dimensions of a Glory Boat allow even the largest individuals to easily fit. The inside of a Glory Boat is softer and more comfortable than traditional caskets. The outside of a Glory Boat is rugged and tough like many of the outdoors enthusiasts who loved spending time on the water in their lives."

"Glory Boats" are actually priced pretty reasonably at $2,800. They are available in three models: Woodland Camo, Marsh Grass, and Pink Camo.
