NOAA Fisheries Asking for Shrimp Boats in SEACOR Recovery Efforts
This is such a sad announcement.
United Cajun Navy just shared a heartbreaking request on Facebook by asking for anyone who wants to volunteer their shrimp boat(s) in the recovery efforts in the SEACOR tragedy to show up near the crash site.
In the social media post, it is outlined what shrimpers will have to do to their vessels in order to assist in the recovery efforts of those still missing at sea.
Currently, seven members are still missing and volunteers want to do their best to bring them home.
The SEACOR vessel capsized last week in the Gulf of Mexico and the U.S. Coast Guard announced this week that they have suspended all searches on the surface of the water.
We will continue to follow this developing story and we continue to pray for the best.
