[UPDATE] Truck Hauling Electric Blasting Caps Crashes Closing I-10 Exit In Scott

UPDATE - The I-10 exit in Scott is now open.

The Scott Fire Department are working the scene of a major accident involving a tractor-trailer at the Eastbound exit ramp of I-10.

KATC reports Scott Fire Chief Chad Sonnier says the tractor-trailer contained electric blasting caps, a class 1 explosive.

The scene is secure, but as a precaution, the Eastbound exit ramp of I-10 in Scott (MM 97) has been closed.
