You might not be alone to have only caught Netflix’s The Crown after its surprising Golden Globe wins, but Season 2 of the historical Royal Family drama is nonetheless going to turn some heads. Among the attention-grabbing additions of late is none other than Dexter and Six Feet Under star Michael C. Hall, playing none other than John F. Kennedy.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, Hall will make his debut as JFK in Season 2, alongside Quarry star Jodi Balfour as Jackie Kennedy. Also recently added to the Queen Elizabeth drama’s second season, Watchmen and Downton Abbey star Matthew Goode will play Antony Armstrong-Jones, or Lord Snowdon, society photographer married to Princess Margaret (Vanessa Kirby).

Also worth noting, it’s plausible Hall gets the chance to reunite with his old (and greatest) Dexter antagonist, as the show features John Lithgow as Winston Churchhill.

The second season will primarily cover the 1960s, including “an illegal war in Egypt,” and “the downfall of [the Queen's] third Prime Minister, Harold Macmillan, after a scandal.” Additionally, Season 2 may prove the last for Golden Globe-winner Claire Foy, who told Vulture back in December “Well, after two seasons, that’s it. I’m gone. They’re getting rid of all of us.”

All episodes of The Crown Season 1 are available to stream on Netflix, the trailer for which you can find below.
