According to a recent study, rooting for teams like the New Orleans Saints, the UL Ragin’ Cajuns, or the LSU Tigers is a high-stress experience.

Louisiana makes it official and hires the new head coach of its football team, Michael Desormeaux. This move was a promotion from within the team, as Coach Desormeaux was Billy Napier's Co-Offensive Coordinator this past season.

This past weekend, former Ragin Cajun Football coach Mark Hudspeth was let go by UL. Hudspeth did a lot for the UL football program in his seven years. Minutes ago, Mark Hudspeth send out a "Goodbye" letter from his family to the Cajun Nation.

Today at Cajun Field, UL Football fans gave the Ragin Cajuns a proper sendoff as they are going to New Orleans to play in the R+L Carriers New Orleans Bowl for the third consecutive year. This year, the Cajuns are looking to three-peat as they take on the Tulane Green Wave this Saturday night in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

New Orleans Bowl weekend will be here before you know it. With the tens of thousands of UL fans expected to embark on the Big Easy come December 21, when the Ragin' Cajuns take on the Tulane Green Wave; parties, tailgating and fun are very necessary.
