‘Revenge Of The Nerds’ Star Robert Carradine Involved In Serious Car Accident

Actor Robert Carradine, who portrayed Lewis Skolnick in the 'Revenge of the Nerds' film series, was involved in a serious car accident in Colorado.

Carradine, 60, was driving with his wife Edie on Highway 145 near Dolores on March 5 at about 2:15 p.m. when his car crossed a dividing line and slammed into a semitrailer.

It was a head-on collision and police and paramedics had to pull Carradine and his wife from the 2003 Mercury Marauder he was driving. They were then sent to Southwest Memorial Hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Alcohol and drugs were not a factor in the accident according to the Colorado State Police but Carradine was cited with 'careless operation'. The semi-truck driver was not injured.
