Gozer Studio Video For ‘The Cleansing’ With Full Band [Video]

Acadiana metalheads, get ready! Just a few weeks ago, we had new local metal band Gozer on The Grindhouse. We talked about the formation of the band, played a few of their songs and talked about their search for a vocalist.

Well, that search didn't take too long. Reggie Dupre, former vocalist of Archeia and his popular Acoustic Show From Hell, has taken over on lead vocals!

Gozer is a Lafayette-based progressive death metal band who got its name from a love of the movie Ghostbusters and beer. The project unofficially began in 2009 when guitarists Keith Hebert and James Marshall met via Lafayette Music and began jamming. The addition of drummer Jai Benoit in early spring of 2013 further solidified Gozer’s sound.

Now, with the addition of Dupre on vocals and bassist Richard Labranche, Gozer is ready to tear Acadiana a new one! Be on the lookout of these guys and their upcoming EP, which is in the process of production now!
