Arrest Made In Stolen Dog Case

Lafayette Police Department arrested the man that broke into Davis Arthur’s’ truck and released his dog Boz. Boz was found dead Thursday morning.

The man arrested (33 prior arrests), stole the clothing and gear and inadvertently let Boz loose. Boz wondered into a nearby area and was attacked by two Pit Bulls. Both Pit Bulls have been put down by the Lafayette Animal Shelter and no ‘organized dog fighting” was going on Martin St.

The name of the suspect is Barry N. Guidry.
