Thanksgiving will not be the forgotten holiday if we have anything to say about it.

What's not to love about it? We'll pig out, watch the Saints play some football, play some bourree and get in a fight with that one family member who's always got to be messy. (Oh, that's just my family?)

Ok, back to the food. What's the dish you're most looking forward to chowing down on?

I'm not sure this new study will answer that for me, but it does show the most popular Thanksgiving recipe in every state, based on Google searches.

For Louisiana, the most-searched Thanksgiving savory recipe is dressing while the top spot for sweet recipe goes to the good ole pecan pie.

A good cornbread dressing and some pecan pie to finish it off, that sure sounds like Louisiana to me.

As far as the rest of the country, roasted turkey was the most popular recipe for nine states, while salads and stuffing both won six states (lame).

Pumpkin pie and brownies tied for number one with 15 states each in the desserts category. But pecan pie and sweet potato pie split the southern vote.
