Texas veterinarian, Lou Tierce, kept a supposedly euthanized dog alive so that he could harvest the dog's blood.

According to Inquisitr, In May of 2013, Jamie and Marian Harris took their dog, Sid, to the clinic that Lou Tierce worked in. After some treatment, the Harris' said Sid had lost use of his hind legs. When they took Sid back to Tierce, he diagnosed Sid with a congenital spinal defect. Tierce then suggested euthanizing the dog.

In September of last year, the Harris' agreed to euthanize Sid because they wanted to end the dog's suffering. Tierce assured them that they would take care of the burial of their beloved family member.

Cut to April 21st of this year. The Harris' received a strange phone call from a woman claiming to be a former employee at Camp Bowie Animal Clinic, where Lou Tierce works. Mary Brewer said that she left the clinic after witnessing Tierce abusing several animals. She also told them that their 'euthanized' dog, Sid, was still alive.

Needless to say, Jamie and Marian drove immediately to the clinic, went right in, and retrieved their dog.

When they took them to another vet to get checked out they found out that Tierce had kept the poor dog alive to harvest it's blood for transfusions, and other experimental procedures.

They also found out that Sid did not have a congenital spinal defect.

The Harris' are obviously disgusted by the veterinarians actions, but are glad that Sid is alive, and back home.
