United Blood Services ‘Pay It Forward In 3’s’ 2014 Blood Drive

United Blood Services is asking you to Pay It Forward this holiday season by donating blood between December 22nd and January 2nd. When you donate blood, UBS will donate $3 to the organization of your choosing: American Lung Association or the American Heart Association.

Each donor will receive a 'I Paid it Forward' t-shirt and will be entered to win a $300 Visa Gift Card. UBS is asking you to share your blood donation via social media by challenging 3 friends to Pay it Forward as well. You will take a photo in front of the UBS "Pay it Forward" backdrop using the hashtag #LifeFor3, and then tag the 3 friends you challenge.

Here are the times and location that you can 'Pay It Forward':

• Monday, December 22 - WalMart - Broussard 12pm-6pm

• Friday, December 26 - WalMart - Pinhook 12pm-6pm

• Saturday, December 27 - NuNu's Fresh Market 12pm-6pm

• Sunday, December 28 - Whole Foods 12pm-6pm

• Monday, December 29 - Rouses - Youngsville 12pm-6pm

• Friday, January 2 - Rouses - Johnston St. 12pm-6pm

You can also donate at the United Blood Services Lafayette Center at 1503 Bertrand drive. The center takes donors seven days a week: Monday 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Tuesday 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Wednesday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Thursday 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday - 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
