The Long-Awaited Trailer For Marvel’s ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ Has Landed [Video]

Ever since Marvel Studios announced 'Guardians of the Galaxy' at Comic Con in 2012, fans have been curious to see what this film will be about. Guardians of the Galaxy isn't really a popular comic series and many people have been saying that Marvel is taking a huge risk making a movie about a franchise that not many people are familiar with.

James Gunn was announced as director and then casting began shortly after. This is an "Avengers" type of ensemble cast. But instead of a band of superheroes, it's a group of intergalactic criminal misfits. Chris Pratt of 'Parks and Recreation' was cast as the lead role of Peter Quill/Star Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, WWE Superstar Dave Bautista as Drax The Destroyer, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket the Raccoon and Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot.

Last night, during Jimmy Kimmel Live, Chris Pratt was on the show to premiere the first trailer for 'Guardians of the Galaxy'. From what I see, I like it! It's almost like Star Wars meets The Avengers! Watch the official trailer below:
