Several Louisiana communities were adversely affected by yesterday strong storms. The inclement weather shut down power, closed some schools, and is believed to have caused a residential fire as well.

Entergy has restored electrical service to customers after thousands lost power early Wednesday morning.

The outage reportedly began at 3:00 am. City officials say crews are working to restore power, but they do not know yet when that will be.
