Speaker Of The House John Boehner Called Himself ‘Boner’ [Video]

When I first saw that John Boehner was the Speaker of the House, I thought his last name was pronounced 'Boner'. I'm sure that I'm not the only one to think this. I later found out by actually watching the news one day, that it is pronounced "Bay-ner".

During a recent press conference, someone from the press referred to Mr. Speaker as "Mr. Camp". Boehner quickly corrected him by saying "Camp? No, it's Boner, Boner". Watch the video, which got a round of laughter from the audience, below.
