I've often said that I'm addicted to music. I literally will not clean my house or cut my grass unless I can put headphones on and listen to music while I'm doing it. It puts me in a better mood and motivates me to do things. Turns out, I'm right, I AM addicted to music, and it's perfectly OK.

Science proves that music releases dopamine into your system. Dopamine is your body's natural "feel good" drug. You get a dose of it as a reward for something you've done, like eating a great meal, sex, art, whatever it is that turns you on. Drugs like Cocaine trick the brain into releasing dopamine at a constant rate, which is why it's so addictive. Music can do the same thing, but it's healthy, so it's good for you.
