Longtime frontman of Three Days Grace, Adam Gontier, has officially announced that he left the band as it's singer/rhythm guitarist right before the band embarks on a co-headlining tour with Shinedown. Fans of the band are not to be discouraged because the band has not broken up. Instead, they hired My Darkest Days frontman Matt Walst as a temporary replacement.

Walst is the brother of Three Days Grace bassist Brad Walst. The band released a couple of tracks, including 'Chalk Outline' from their latest album 'Transit Of Venus' with Walst on vocals. So, you will have an idea of what to expect the band to sound like after Gontier's departure and what they will sound like on the upcoming co-headlining tour with Shinedown.
