Lafayette Parish School District Reaches Decision About School Closure

With the approach of hurricane Issac, many districts have begun making preparations for student safety by closing school for the duration of the inland progression of the storm. The Lafayette Parish school district is monitoring the forecast track updates, and has announced that all schools will remain open for Tuesday August 28, 2012. The district will continue to check the progress of Hurricane Issac and will issue another update Tuesday morning at 9:00am. We'll keep you updated on the latest.
