A couple of hunters in Louisiana bagged a very rare squirrel and some on social media have mixed feelings about it.

Two hunters posed with a white squirrel that they recently harvested at Davis Island in Tensas Parish.

The albino squirrel was shot by the hunters in North Louisiana and this isn't something you see every time you walk into the woods.

However, I will admit when I was attending LSU in Baton Rouge, we had a white squirrel that lived on campus and many would stop in their tracks anytime they saw it.

Again, it's not every day you see a white squirrel, and perhaps that is why the hunters elected to shoot this very rare color squirrel.

I do ask, would you have pulled the trigger if you saw this squirrel in a tree? You can let us know in the comment section on the social media page that sent you to this story.

Here's a photo of two hunters and the white squirrel that was shot and killed.
