Although the public volunteer efforts have been temporarily suspended in the search for Mickey Shunick, there are still many ways you can help the Shunick family. This was posted yesterday on the "Find Mickey Shunick Now" Facebook page :

"***Use this website to donate meals to the Shunick family! E-mail events@findmickeynow.com to sign up for lunch and/or dinner donations to Mickey's family; a good meal can go a long way, friends!***"

Here is a direct link to the meal calendar on the website. According to the site, "Meals should feed 6-8 people and include a meatless option, as one of the family members is vegetarian. Delivery times are noon for lunch and 5PM for dinner."

The Calendar also includes information on fund raising benefits being held by business all over Acadiana.
