For those of you who are fans of the infamous Louisiana sludge metal band Acid Bath and like myself, are hoping for a reunion one day, will enjoy the video you are about to see. A few weeks ago in Metarie, LA at Twist of Lime, Crowbar frontman Kirk Windstein had an "Old School Jam" which features New Orleans area musicians. Two guys that were there were Acid Bath guitarist Mike Sanchez and drummer Jimmy Kyle.

Kyle Thomas, current lead singer of Trouble and formerly of Exhorder, joined Sanchez and Kyle on stage to perform one of Acid Bath's classic tracks 'Tranquilized'. Before they played the song, Thomas said to the crowd:

I sent a text to Dax Riggs (former Acid Bath vocalist) and asked him if I had his blessing, and he said yeah. And, for what it's worth, Sammy wishes he could be here tonight.

He was referring to Sammy Duet, former Acid Bath guitarist and current guitarist of Goatwhore. So, without further ado, check out this awesome performance of Kyle Thomas, Mike Sanchez and Jimmy Kyle performing Acid Bath's 'Tranquilized'!
