Youth sports. So much fun, but, can be SO emotionally explosive. Kids out on the field trying to be the next Drew Brees or Michael Vick. Some might, but most won't. That's part of the fun, watching these kids figure out the game and find their way. But, sometimes things get weird...

Recently, a certain situation has BYYA (Broussard Youngsville Youth Association) parents in an uproar. In a jamboree football game at Neyland Park against CAYSI (Carencro Area Youth Sports Inc.), some BYYA parents feel that the CAYSI football coach instructed his players to intentionally hurt a BYYA player(s). According to the YouTube video description from what seems to be a BYYA parent/supporter:

"This is the video from the jamboree football game on Saturday at Neyland Park. Witnessess say the CAYSI coach instructed a few of his players to deliberately hurt and do this(take him out) which sent one of our players to hospital with internal bruising. An adult was clearly bullying a 10 year old via his own players."

Now, by watching this video, I can't tell what type of situation we have here. I've seen many similar situations countless times watching my son play. Is this just some kids jumping the count, or is it intentional? If you notice, the BYYA kids aren't even down in a stance when the CAYSI kids fire off. I will say this...I have known coaches and players from both organizations, and have never seen ANY type of foul play. Again, hard to tell from this video what's going on here, and without being there, I can't come to a conclusion. What do YOU think is going here?
