On this leg of the 2014 Eat Lafayette campaign, I traveled to Broussard to eat some Shrimp Po-boys at BJ's Sandwich Shop!

BJs was originally built as a drug store in the early 1900s. Glenn Murphree bought the building in 1995. He kept the name BJ’s, but made it “in the Olde Tyme tradition” as a Poor Boy shop. Today, BJ’s serves poor boys and plate lunches daily to the Broussard community.
