~I was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana. So yes I've been around here for my entire life but I love Lafayette! I couldn't imagine being from anywhere else. People around here are just so damn nice!
~I got my first cd when I was six. I asked my parents for a cd by The Doors for Christmas and I got it. I'm sure I'm the only girl in South Louisiana that was walking around belting out "L.A. Woman"!!
~Some of my favorite bands/artists are Blue October, Disturbed, Nine Inch Nails, Pink Floyd, Dax Riggs and Stevie Ray Vaughn... just to name a few. Of course I'm pretty open-minded about music because I find it to be so expressive and personal no matter the genre. You'd be surprised to hear some of the stuff I like.
~My worst habit is procrastinating! I just can't help waiting until the last minute to do everything. You should have seen how long it too me just to get this together!!!
~Danielle's Top Three Movies Of All Time:
1) Natural Born Killers- My brother and I used to stay up really late together and watch this movie after my parents went to bed. I just felt intrigued by such complexity and insanity. Remarkable!!
2) Pink Floyd: Live In Pompeii- This movie came out before Dark Side Of The Moon. The band records the video in Pomeii where they play in this old ruined gladiator type outdoor coliseum. it has spectacular scenes of the ruins and in the coliseum there is great acoustics. This is what I like to watch when I want to chillax.
3) Labyrinth- I don't know if you know what this movie is but it used to scare me when I was little but I still would watch it anyway. I have this thing about mazes, puzzles, monsters and goblins. And besides that who would pass up the chance to see David Bowie in tights. Hehe!!
~You know what's funny? My first job was at McDonald's. I went with a friend to apply so we could work together but I ended up getting a job and she didn't. I didn't stay very long though. I was fifteen and I knew real quick that saying "You want fries with that?" was not in my future.
~If I wasn't in radio I don't know what I would do! I want to say that I would have a band of my own but if you ever got a chance to hear me sing then you now understand why I talk on the radio and I don't sing. Maybe I could just play the tambourine or something, huh? No really, music is an obsession!
~Growing up I always knew music was in my future but I did toy around with the idea of being a marine biologist when I was really young. That idea flew out the window as soon as I realized I couldn't swim. (I didn't find out I couldn't swim until last year! see I told you I was a procrastinator!)
