What was originally forecast to be just a little rain on Mardi Gras, turned out to be our third winter storm of the year. Mother Nature decided that Tuesday, March 4th would be the day that she froze South Louisiana. Today's and Monday's weather was beautiful, but Mardi Gras...miserable!

The festival grounds were shut down on Tuesday. But, you can't cancel or postpone Mardi Gras! The parades rolled on as scheduled. This year's Mardi Gras was a record one. It probably holds the record for the least people attending. There were people, but only here and there. Here are some images of the coldest Mardi Gras that I have ever experienced.
