Being born and raised in Acadiana, I have heard the cajun dialect all my life. But there is different accents and dialects in the state of Louisiana. In the video above, Louisiana native Katelyn, who is definitely from the Acadiana region from her accent, explains the different Louisiana accents and dialects.

She explains that there are 3 different accents in Louisiana, the North Louisiana accent, the Acadiana accent or "Cajun", and the accent associated with the city of New Orleans or "Nawlins" and the areas around the city. Watch the video above to see what accent you have bruh. I have a bit of the Cajun and a bit of the Northern, being that my father is from East Texas, which is somewhat similar.
