Blind auditions continued on the new season of 'The Voice' last night, offering viewers multiple opportunities to cheer, boo and be amazed by the backstories of contestants like Mackenzie Bourg, a 19-year-old who triumphed over a life-threatening illness to take the stage with his rendition of Foster the People's 'Pumped Up Kicks.'

Bourg, who suffered an extended hospital stay (and a medically induced coma) after being diagnosed with viral mitochondriosis, used his clean bill of health as the inspiration for taking a shot at 'The Voice' -- and he made it count with his audition, which found the young singer (described by Adam Levine as "Harry Potter meets Justin Bieber") putting his own spin on one of 2010's most-played hits.

Bourg's 'Pumped Up Kicks' made their biggest impression on Cee Lo Green, who was the first to press his button and bring his chair around so he could watch the performance face-to-face. Accepting his responsibility as the newest member of Green's team, Bourg told his mentor, "I'm not gonna let you down." Watch the clip of his audition below and let us know what you think in the comments.
