Lafayette Parish

The following private schools will be closed:

• Family Life Christian Academy

Evangeline Parish public schools will be closed Friday, January 11th, due to multiple impassible roads in the parish. Central office staff, media employees, principals, and custodians should report to work.

The following private schools will be closed:

• Christian Heritage Academy in Ville Platte

Acadia Parish public schools are closed due to widespread flooding.

Jeff Davis Parish public schools will remain closed.

The following private schools will be closed:

• Bethel Christian School

St. Landry Parish public schools are closed due to high water and student safety.

The following private schools will be closed:

• Westminster Christian Academy (All Campuses closed)
• Opelousas Catholic

Because of the rainy, stormy weather that has been happening since Tuesday and is expected to happen into Thursday morning, here are the school closures for Thursday:

Acadia Parish

All Acadia Parish Public Schools will be closed.

The following private schools in Acadia Parish will be closed:

Jeff Davis Parish

All Jeff Davis Parish Public Schools will be closed.

Lafayette Parish

All Lafayette Parish Public Schools will be closed. School-based personnel do not report to work. Central Office personnel who are able to get to work safely should report. The new-hire orientation meeting scheduled for Thursday is canceled and will be re-scheduled at a later date.

All campuses of South Louisiana Community College will be closed. Employees who live in areas that are safe to travel should report to work.

All St. Martin Parish public schools will be closed. Also, all St. Martin Parish School Board Offices will also be closed.

Trinity Catholic in St. Martinville

St. Mary Parish

All St. Mary Parish Public Schools will be closed. Regular 12-month employees will still need to report to work.
