UPDATE: Suspect Booked For Pregnant Woman’s Death
UPDATE: The St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office has arrested a Breaux Bridge woman who was being questioned for the stabbing death of a pregnant Arnaudville woman.
Major Ginny Higgins said 32-year-old Toni Trimble Thomas has been arrested for allegedly killing 24-year-old Ashley Nicole Meche who was eight months pregnant at the time of her death.
Thomas has been charged with second-degree murder and second-degree feticide.
Investigators determined the victim's boyfriend--who is also Thomas' brother--Mark Trimble, had no involvement in the homicide and was released from custody after questioning earlier today.
Higgins said Trimble had been at the victim's home earlier in the day; however, he was not present or involved in the homicide.
No motive for the homicide has been established.

UPDATE: The St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office, with the help of the Iberia Parish Sheriff's office, was able to find Mark Trimble in the Loreauville area.
Right after that, Toni Trimble, the other person woman wanted for questioning in connection to the death of the pregnant woman was found in the Bayou Fuselier area in St. Martin Parish.
Major Ginny Higgins says that both the man and woman are in custody.
Higgins says Mark Trimble is Ashley Meche's boyfriend, and Toni Tramble is Mark Trimble's sister.
Police say they are continuing to investigate Meche's homicide. The pregnant woman was stabbed to death.

St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office Spokeswoman Major Ginny Higgins says they are searching for two people as "Persons of Interest" in connection to a homicide that happened in Arnaudville.
Deputies say they showed up to a home in the 1100 block of Courtableau Highway to find a woman who was eight months pregnant woman dead.
Police are investigating the death of 24-year-old Ashley Nicole Meche as a homicide.
Deputies say they are looking for 29-year-old Mark Trimble and 32-year-old Toni Trimble of Catahoula as "Persons of Interest" in the case.
These two were last seen leaving the the home on Courtableu Highway at around 4:30 Tuesday evening.
Investigators are asking anyone knowing the whereabouts of either one of the Trimble's to call the St. Martin Parish Sheriff's Office at 337-394-3071.
