Two men from Mississippi were attacked by a flesh eating bacteria after being in Louisiana waters.

A few weeks ago, Rene Olier was fishing south of Cat Island in Louisiana waters, today he's walking into the care center at a hospital in Mississippi, with his right arm amputated at the shoulder.

He was never in the water! He just used his hands to pull shrimp out of the live bait well.

"We went fishing early Thursday morning. Friday around 2:00 a.m., I knew I was getting sick, but I didn't know what the problem was."

Turns out the problem was Vibrio Vulnificus. You can read symptoms and more HERE, but I promise, it's nothing you wanna mess with.

Jocko Angle was actually in the water under the Popp's Ferry bridge. His leg was able to be saved, but a year after his incident his left leg is still twice the size as it once was.
