She has a name! The National Hurricane Center and NOAA confirm that Tropical Storm Cindy has formed off the Louisiana coast. Current model shows a track that would put the center of circulation on the Texas-Louisiana border late tomorrow. However, rain from the storm has already started along the coast.

Meteorologists warn that the main weather threat is much further east in Southeast Louisiana- specifically south of New Orleans. Rain, not wind, is the main concern with this storm and residents are encouraged to prepare for possible flooding.
