I've heard about a remake of Red Dawn for quite a while now. It's because it was shot in 2009 and then studio MGM had all those financial problems, which included the delays of The Hobbit and Skyfall. But now, it is being released this Thanksgiving. Check out the trailer for Red Dawn after the jump.

The remake stars Chris Hemsworth, who at the time of filming, was only known as playing Captain Kirk's father in J.J. Abrams' Star Trek. The film also stars Josh Peck, Josh Hutcherson, Adrianne Palicki, Connor Cruise, yes Tom Cruise's son, Isabel Lucas and Jeffery Dean Morgan.

The difference in this remake is that instead of the bad guys being Chinese, they are North Korean.
