‘The Walking Dead’ Casts Chad Coleman As Tyreese

While there are definitely differences in the comic book and the TV show, The Walking Dead does still have some of the same characters and story lines. One that I've been waiting for is that of Tyreese. I wasn't sure if they were gonna merge two characters to make up the Tyreese character from the book, for the TV show, but the question has now been answered as The Wire alum Chad Coleman has been cast! Keep reading to find out a little more about Tyreese. SLIGHT SPOILERS BELOW

In the Walking Dead comics, Tyreese was a prominent member of the survivors and served as Rick’s second in command following Shane’s death. The character’s arrival (rumored to be in this season’s eighth episode) comes as Rick prepares to do battle with David Morrissey’s Governor.
