The Mars Volta Announce New Album For 2012 And Tracklisting
El-Paso prog-rock masters The Mars Volta have finally released information from their forthcoming album to be released early this year. A lot of things have been happening in their camp, including the re-formation of their previous band At The Drive-In. The album will be called 'Noctourniquet' and will be released on March 27th. Now with the release of this new album and the reuniting of ATDI, founders Cedric Bixler-Zavala and Omar Rodriguez-Lopez have a very busy year ahead of them, and so do the fans of the two bands as well.
Here is the official tracklisting of 'Noctourniquet':
- “The Whip Hand”
- “Aegis”
- “Dyslexicon”
- “Empty Vessels Make The Loudest Sound”
- “The Malkin Jewel”
- “Lapochka”
- “In Absentia”
- “Imago”
- “Molochwalker”
- “Trinkets Pale Of Moon”
- “Vedamalady”
- “Noctourniquet”
- “Zed And Two Naughts”
Kinda reminiscent of a Pink Floyd album cover....isn't it? I can't wait!
