
The Best (and Easiest) Jambalaya to Feed a Crowd
We've all had a last-minute family function come up and the biggest thing to figure out is what to eat. In South Louisiana, Jambalaya is an essential food group. It's a one-stop-shop. No need to create side dishes, because it's all in one dish.
Recently, I had a house full of people and wanted to try to make my first "from scratch" jambalaya This recipe comes from the Boudreaux family in Acadiana Parish.
INGREDIENTS
- 1.5 lbs chicken thighs
- 1 tbsp. oil
- 1 lb Smoked Sausage
- 1 onion
- 1/2 bell pepper
- 2 c. rice
- 1 tsp. Minced Garlic
- 1 c. Chicken Broth
- 1 c. Beef Broth
- 1 tbs. cajun seasoning
