Things got weird last week at the Tiger Truck Stop in Grosse Tete.

Owner Mike Sandlin, has a new pet, a five month old camel from Texas named Casper.

The State of Louisiana, Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission, the Louisiana Department, the Tiger Truck Stop and it's owner Michael Sandlin are being sued by an animal rights group and a former state legislator over the law signed by Governor Bobby Jindal allowing Tony the Tiger to be an attraction at Tiger Truck Stop.

Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal signed a bill letting Tiger Truck Stop owner keep 14 year old Tony the Tiger as a roadside attraction.

A state appellate court in New Orleans ruled as invalid a permit issued to the owner of the Tiger Truck Stop in Grosse Tete, Michael Sandlin.
