A permit was granted to a group of people in Evangeline Parish for a protest in front of a detention center, it was cut short due to weather conditions.

The Bloodstained Men & Their Friends, an anti-circumcision activist group, are launching a week-long protest across South Louisiana, beginning in Lafayette on February 5. The group aims to raise awareness about what they call a violation of human rights.

The group claims that, so far, they've targeted over 9,000 vehicles, deflating at least one tire on each vehicle.

Protesters gathered in Downtown Lafayette at the General Mouton statue and at Martin Hall on the UL campus speaking out against racial injustice.
