According to the city council, drinkers can now join the smokers on the streets of Abbeville.

It turns out that the mainstay of Louisiana alcoholic consumption, the go-cup, is welcome in a few other places.

State Senator Eric LaFleur of Ville Platte has proposed a bill that would allow 18 to 20-year-olds to buy and consume alcohol if they obtain a certificate.
