In the early 90s Henley founded the Caddo Lake Institute, a nonprofit, to aid in his fight to keep developers away from the lake on the northern Texas-Louisiana border. For his 70th birthday concert, he's announced a special VIP package will go to benefit the Caddo Lake Institute.
