We invited the Black Label Society frontman to our studio to learn about the band's ninth studio album, 'Catacombs of the Black Vatican,' along with everything Zakk Wylde. It didn't take long for Wylde to open up, enlightening us about the courage it takes to get in bed with a woman, the pain of masturbatory accidents + much more.

Black Label Society have just announced the 2014 release of a new album! Led by guitar god Zakk Wylde, the metal band will unleash their ninth album, 'Catacombs of the Black Vatican,' on April 8.

One month after announcing the departure of guitarist Nick Catanese, Black Label Society have revealed his replacement, Dario Lorina of the band Lizzy Borden.

Zakk Wylde and Black Label Society took some time out from working on their new disc to update fans on a shift in the band’s lineup. Guitarist Nick Catanese, who has been Wylde’s right hand man since 1999, is no longer in the band.

Ahead of its Sept. 24 release, Black Label Society's 'Unblackened' live disc is streaming via Pandora Premieres (click here to listen). In the meantime, the band continues to work on a new studio album.

Black Label Society are scheduled to drop the live double album 'Unblackened' on Sept. 24. The record will offer stripped-down versions of Black Label Society fan favorites, but Zakk Wylde and the boys have included a little surprise in the form of a Bill Withers' 'Ain't No Sunshine' cover, which you can listen to right now.
