‘Swamp Mysteries with Troy Landry’ Debuting in June on History Channel
For several years now we've seen Troy Landry as the lovable alligator hunter on History Channel's popular "Swamp People" series. The pride of Pierre Part, Louisiana is now getting his own show.
The new six-episode nonfiction series "Swamp Mysteries with Troy Landry" will premier Thursday, June 7 at 9pm following the season nine finale of "Swamp People." After its debut, the new show will move to Thursdays at 8pm.
The show follows Troy as he travels to other states to help folks having issues with dangerous animals.
Some of his travels lead him to confront "El Diablo," a behemoth gator on the attack in Mississippi, feral hogs in Texas, pythons fighting gators in Florida, and a man-sized garfish with a taste for flesh in Louisiana - just to name a few.
Let's just hope that a translator accompanied Troy as he traveled to these far, far away lands.
