Suicide Silence Reveal Album Art, Track Listing + Collaborations for ‘You Can’t Stop Me’
Last week, the details for Suicide Silence's first album without late vocalist Mitch Lucker were finally revealed. The album's July 15 release date will leave fans both curious and hyped for a few more months, but to help with the wait, Suicide Silence just released the cover art and track listing for 'You Can't Stop Me,' along with info on some interesting collaborations to be found within the record.
Suicide Silence chose to wait nearly a full year after the passing of Mitch Lucker to announce future plans. All Shall Perish vocalist Eddie Hermida was recruited to front Suicide Silence, reportedly getting the axe from All Shall Perish in the process. ASP have yet to announce a new frontman.
"The experience in the studio was different for me," Eddie Hermida told us about 'You Can't Stop Me' at the 2014 Revolver Golden Gods. "I'm used to writing very separately from the band and writing at home on a computer and being able to switch over from my video games and just not really think about music when I'm not really feeling it. But with this, it was gung ho, go for it, you're in it. And A) I think the record came out amazing and B) it was just a fun experience."
Hermida won't be the only new voice on 'You Can't Stop Me.' The album's track listing reveals a collaboration with Cannibal Corpse vocalist George 'Corpsegrinder' Fisher on 'Control,' while the Dillinger Escape Plan's Greg Puciato adds his voice to 'Monster Within.'
