Study Shows Louisiana Still Ranks Last In America’s School System

Most of us have known for a while that Louisiana's school system has been at the bottom of all states for years. Since it is Back to School season again, a new study was made to rank the school systems in the United States and it doesn't look good again for Louisiana.

The website WalletHub.com conducted an analysis of not only the best school systems in the US, but also the worst. Louisiana ranked at the very bottom at number 50. This analysis took data from the state dropout rate, to ACT and SAT scores and pupil-to-teacher ratio.

Louisiana came out at the bottom with 30.3 points. The state ranked 49th place for School-System Quality and 51st place for School System Safety. Louisiana also has some of the lowest math and reading based on ACT test scores as well. Check out the full rankings by state by clicking the link below.
