Stephanie Rose Bongiovi, 19, and daughter of rockstar Jon Bon Jovi, was arrested early this morning on drug charges after an apparent overdose. Kirkland, NY police department said that heroin, marijuana and other drug paraphernalia was found in her dorm room at Hamilton College.

According to the Kirkland Police Department:

She was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of marijuana, and criminally using drug paraphernalia, all of which are class-A misdemeanors.  She was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, which is a violation.  She was released on an appearance tickets and must appear in court at a later date.

Also arrested was 21 year-old student Ian S. Grant, another student at Hamilton College. He faces one count of criminal possession of a controlled substance after the police discovered a small amount of heroin.

A rep for Jon Bon Jovi told ABC News Radio that they have no comment on this incident.

Kirkland Police arrived at the dorm room on a call of a female who had overdosed on heroin and was unresponsive. The police told the Associated Press that the femalewh o overdosed was in fact Bongiovi. She is now recovering at a local hospital.
