Sobriety Checkpoint Scheduled In Lafayette

The Lafayette Police Department has announced they will be conducting an OWI Checkpoint somewhere with the incorporated limits of Lafayette.

This Friday night (06/21/19) between 9 pm and 3 am police will conduct the OWI Checkpoint, responding with zero tolerance to drivers under the influence of alcohol or any other altering substances.

Driving under the influence is something you should never do, OWI Checkpoint or not. Always have a designated driver, or get a cab, Uber, Lyft or heck, take a bus if you have to.
