Sepultura Land Ross Robinson + Steve Evetts To Produce New Album
Sepultura may have spent a good portion of 2012 on the road, but 2013 finds the band back in the studio working on their next record. The Brazilian metal masterminds are starting to get things in order for their next disc, beginning with the choices of Ross Robinson and Steve Evetts to produce their upcoming release.
The group has been working out the music for their next album, which ThePrp reports is said to be a return to their "roots." Robinson, who previously worked with the band on their 1996 effort, 'Roots,' will co-produce along with Steve Evetts, who also has a lengthy history with the group.
Frontman Derrick Green recently posted video of drum rehearsals inside the band's studio as a teaser for the new album. The clip can be seen here. As for the actual recording sessions, they're expected to start at Robinson's studio in June.
At present, the group is plotting a late 2013 release via Nuclear Blast Records.
