A nice portion of my childhood was spent at Aladdin's Castle in the Acadiana Mall when I was a young kid. I used to go there almost every afternoon when I finished school for the day. A lot of that time at Aladdin's Castle was spent on the Mortal Kombat machines.

Secret menus were discovered on Mortal Kombat 1-3. There secret menus are known as EJB menus, named after co-creator Ed Boon, who secretly programmed the menus.

Of course, these secret menus are found by pressing buttons in a certain order. For example, to access the EJB menu on Mortal Kombat, you must press the block buttons in this order:

P1 (x5), P2 (x10), P1 (x2), P2 (x1), P1 (x2), P2 (x3), P1 (x4)

P1 is Player 1 and P2 is Player 2. Can you imagine the chaos at the arcade if these codes were discovered in the 90's? To access the codes for Mortal Kombat 2, 3 and Ultimate MK3, watch the demonstration video above!

If only Aladdin's Castle was still open in the food court and had retro arcade games!
