Scientists In China Have Created Glow-In-The-Dark Pigs [Video]
"YEAH...SCIENCE!" I know what you are thinking. Glow-in-the-dark pigs means glow-in-the-dark bacon right? Wrong! Scientists in China have created florescent piglets in an experiment to show that introducing beneficial genes from one animal into another does not harm the recipient.
Scientists achieved this by injecting pig embryos with jellyfish DNA. The whole theory behind the experiment is to introduce beneficial genes from one animal into another without harming the recipient. This will allow scientists to create cheaper medicines for human beings in order to save millions of lives.
