School Bus Crash In Scott Sends 16 Kids To The Hospital

KATC.com reported this morning that a school bus crash in Scott resulted in 16 students being transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The crash was the result of another driver running a red light and hitting the bus, according to Lafayette Parish School System spokeswoman Mona Bernard.

There were a total of 32 kids on the bus at the time of the crash. The bus, which was bus number 320, was on the way to Scott Middle School when the accident occurred.
