Samsung Delivers See-Through Safety Trucks [Video]

Have you ever been stuck behind an 18-wheeler, and didn't know if you could pass or not because your view was blocked? Samsung has your safety in mind.

The Safety Truck is equipped with a camera on the front of the truck, and four panels on the back that display the camera footage, allowing to see through the truck!

This allows drivers to overtake the truck safely.

The prototype truck is no longer in commission as Samsung is working to "perform the corresponding tests in order to comply with the existing national protocols and obtain the necessary permits and approvals."

The biggest hurdle for Samsung will be the cost of installing the four panels on every truck. The camera isn't all that costly, but video screen panels can get pricey, and would need major investment(s).
